Weekly Capoeira Angola Classes in Brighton
Join our weekly Capoeira Angola classes in the heart of Brighton, welcoming people of all levels and experience — from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
Capoeira Angola is a rich Brazilian art form that brings together movement, martial arts, dance, music, rhythm, and community. Our classes provide an enjoyable way to improve your fitness, strength, flexibility, coordination, mobility, balance, and body awareness, while learning the traditional movements and principles of Capoeira Angola.
Music is an important part of every Capoeira experience. During our sessions, you will have the opportunity to explore percussion, rhythm, traditional instruments, and Capoeira songs, as well as learn Brazilian Portuguese words and expressions connected to the music and culture.
Our classes are also about connection and community. You will work with different partners, develop communication and awareness through movement, and become part of a friendly and supportive group. There is no need to be a martial artist, dancer, or musician — simply come with an open mind and a willingness to learn.
Whether you are looking to get fitter, learn a new skill, connect with others, explore Brazilian culture, or simply enjoy moving your body, our Capoeira Angola classes offer a welcoming space to do so.
